Re: Interstellar Script Discussion

If anyone has a copy of the script they could send me or even a good synopsis would be amazing!

Thank you!

Re: Western or Horror?

If he made either, Nolan would have my attention.

I am really intrigued by what kind of story he would tell if he did a western. If he could re-team with Wally Pfister, just think of the scenery, Wow! Maybe if he did it in time he could use Clint Eastwood in a role.

Re: The trilogy should have been crime thrillers not action

Batman Begins = A Heroes Journey Flim The Dark Knight = Crime Drama Film The Dark Knight = War/Disaster Film I love each and every min of the trilogy. I'm glad they changed it up or it would be the same movie done over and over. I hear the same arguments over and over, no detective work or not enoug...

Re: Life changing movies ?

Life changing movies, it's interesting and somewhat hilarious for me when I think about this. Warning it will get cheesy! As silly as it sounds, I will say Batman Forever. I was seven when it came out, it was the first Batman movie I got to see at the theater. Of the few VHS movies I had growing up,...

Re: Christopher Nolan's Useful Lies

Wow. Isn't it interesting then that (based on your thesis) The Dark Knight Rises is Nolan's ultimate answer to the sum total of his past work? By this I mean that The Dark Knight Rises is his first movie to show the full consequences of a shallowly appealing lie - given that the entire movie is abo...

Re: Favorite Cinematography

I just recently watched Atonement (about 5 years on the late side, but at least I finally saw it) The movie is gorgeous, there are so many shots that I like. But I have to post the steady cam Dunkirk scene. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tzXw0lSMPjc I can't deny Wally Pfister's work. Hong Kong shot...

Miniature v/s CGI

Given that Nolan is usually averse to CGI, and given the seemingly high special effects driven nature of this movie, it'll be interesting to see if he goes for miniatures or switches to CGI like Lucas did with Star Wars or goes for a combination of the two as he has done in the past. Again how much...

My conspiracy theory for a shared universe with TDKR.

It seems as though this is a common topic being actively discussed among people on other sites, and is being optioned by Warner Brothers - especially the rumor that Ryan Reynolds' Green Lantern is included in the cast, and they want JGL to be Batman. Now Man of Steel's original intentions have been...

Nolan's most CGI heavy movie?

I could see him using miniatures and models with CGI, hes been doing that for while now. Yep Totally, He'll probably get a team to build some enormous miniatures :-D :-D and then add some touches on the computers to give the authentic feel. I remember him saying (I paraphrase) "that he likes to giv...
