Re: Justice League (2017)

What even is the "Snyder Cut"?

I never really paid attention to this story, but I though Snyder left mid-filming to tend to a family tragedy and Whedon stepped into finish the filming. Did Snyder come back in post and do his own edit, but the studio went with Whedon's?

Re: Joker (2019)

Yea, but Venom was Pg-13 with bunch of CGI and action scenes. It looked like a typical comic book film. It also had a China release.

Re: Joker (2019)

Domestic: $322,599,593 Worldwide: $1,016,599,593 It has passed the Dark Knight's worldwide total, though the global box office market is lot different than a decade ago. Still, I never imagined the film would end up with this kind of numbers. When they first started marketing the film, I was thinkin...

Re: Teaser/Trailer #1

Speculation time: In this room, behind JDW, there are a lot of canvases/paintings - perhaps they're stealing art? https://cdn.images.express.co.uk/img/dynamic/36/590x/secondary/tenet-bullet-hole-2029850.webp?r=1566999752641 The full cast list on imdb does list somebody as "Art Gallery Employee"... ...

Re: Joker (2019)

There's seems to be a lot of support for the film overall among other actors/writers/directors, just some mainstream critics were naysayers on the film. I'm thinking it has a good shot at getting a picture nomination.

Re: Doctor Sleep (2019)

Too bad more people aren't seeing this, because it is a lot better than most of the crappy horror movies that get released. Director does a good job balancing being an adaptation of the King's book (taking the best elements from it) and also being a sequel to Kubrick's Shining. Really enjoyed the sc...

Re: HBO's Watchmen

Good episode and Regina King and Jean Smart are great in their scenes together. Though, I hope we do start to get some answers to what's going on. This episode served up a lot more questions instead of providing any kind clarity on any of the other established plot points (something that irks me ab...

Re: Doctor Sleep (2019)

Yeah, heard good things about this, too bad it's tanking at the box office. Gonna get beat by the generic looking "Midway". Maybe don't release a horror movie right after Halloween.
