Re: HBO's Game of Thrones

I thought it was great. I have always enjoyed the little character moments before the big battle starts in previous episodes like Battle of Bastards and Battle of Blackwater, this was like a full episode of those moments. Re: Dark Phoenix (2019)

X-Men are great and the comics have some great stories. So,I don't know why we have to do the Phoenix storyline again. It's not that interesting and really either is Jean Grey without the love triangle stuff with Wolverine and Cyclops, and even that gets a little old after awhile.

Re: Untitled Nolan Film - General Information/Discussion/Speculation

I don't know why Nolan gets so criticized about exposition and other directors get a pass for it. I mean watch a Scorsese flick like Goodfellas or Casino and the whole thing is voiceover exposition (I like both movies quite a bit by the way).

Re: Untitled Nolan Film - General Information/Discussion/Speculation

What is the "time continuum"? Does the article mean space-time continuum, such as, dealing with Einstein's theory of relativity?

Re: Untitled Nolan Film - Crew Discussion/Speculation

Does this mean that the role of "Barbara" is type of scientist, tech role since the scene the actress read was as Lucius Fox from Batman Begins?

Also is the part already cast with Elizabeth Debicki?

Re: Untitled Nolan Film - Cast Discussion/Speculation

To me it looks like Robert Pattinson and Elizabeth Debicki could be playing brother and sister.

Re: Once Upon a Time in Hollywood (2019)

There was a lot of people on twitter getting "triggered" by the scene of Brad Pitt's character fighting Bruce Lee in the trailer. They were calling it somekind of "white man" fantasy that Pitt would even be able to challenge Lee in a fight. They failed to realize that Pitt' character is a stunt man ...

Re: John David Washington joins the cast

I do get a little tired of people on social media acting like Nolan has never cast a non-white person in his movie. It's insulting to Morgan Freeman, Ken Watanabe, Dileep Rao, and others.

Re: Other filmmakers on Christopher Nolan

Don't know if it's the appropriate forum but the cinematographer Mathieu-David Cournot tell on Twitter that Christopher Nolan had deliberately missed the scene of Marion Cotillard death scene in The Dark Knight Rises to take revenge on her because during the shooting, she went secretly in France fo...
