I'm skeptical those who skipped it last weekend will reconsider. Those folks are the ones who'll have the toughest time divorcing the tradgedy from the movie. If anything, they'll see a different film.
I think a 50% drop sounds about right.

I'm already seeing the effect of this morning's terrorism on my local cinema. The 7:15 PM showing was a little more than half empty. A theatre employee said (predictably, perhaps) the low attendence was unheard-of for such a blockbuster. Sad day, indeed.
