Re: 'Dunkirk' Nolan Fans Member Reviews (NFometer)

After a second viewing, 9.5/10 , only because personally the perfect 10/10 is a mark I feel like I can only truly give once, and I hope that Nolan has something even more groundbreaking in his future. That being said, I did enjoy each and every frame, every line of dialogue, every sound effect and m...

Re: HBO's Westworld

Certainly wasn't perfect, but I suppose I forgive Chris and Jonathan for logical errors and really just enjoy their work. I absolutely loved the entire season and the finale.

Re: HBO's Westworld

Well, i didn't expect that from Ford. Anyway, not as good as last 3 episodes. Still a good episode though. And oh, Dolores' theme is so good. I get whiffs of Memento, Inception, and obviously some sweet western stuff. Yeah same. Not as good as the first 3 episodes? I'll bite. Maeve's whole arc thro...

This is really becoming one of my favorite shows of all time. I get whiffs of Memento, Inception, and obviously some sweet western stuff.

Re: Logan (2017)

With less than two minutes of footage, I can't tell if this is going to be as deep as the trailer makes it look or if it's going to be a superhero flick with a trailer featuring emotional music. I have hopes though.

Can I still be cool if I admit that this was trash and I enjoyed it?

Re: Suicide Squad (2016)

Big plot hole I haven't seen mentioned anywhere yet This Joker has apparently ruined a lot of Batman's life, judging by the Easter eggs in BvS. Deadshot has it out for Batman, wants to head to Gotham to even the score. Shouldn't Deadshot theoretically know who the Joker is, rather than merely referr...

Re: Suicide Squad (2016)

6/10, a good 6/10. Some of the film making choices in the first hour are baffling. Somehow, though, the horrific rapid fire editing seems to work for the movie over time, allowing for a strange sort of immersion by momentum. It didn't hit me until the drive home that I hadn't thought about anything ...
