Re: What if Dunkirk is disappointing?

Yeah, I was a bit disappointed (which also breaks my heart to say). Very impressive on a technical scale, but I was also hoping for a "WOW" moment that would get me hooked but I never got there. I left the theater feeling kind of meh, whereas in all his other films I'm emotionally overwhelmed. To be...

Re: 'Dunkirk' Nolan Fans Member Reviews (NFometer)

I was a bit disappointed, though I really appreciated what Nolan was going for. Its an arthouse film disguised as a blockbuster. It focuses more on the visuals, sound mixing, and score (which were phenomenal), rather than the story. That made me less emotionally invested compared to where Interstell...

Re: Dunkirk General Information/Discussion

Might be a dumb question, but do you guys think there'll be previews for when showings start tomorrow? I'm seeing it in the largest IMAX screen in Florida but it's not 70 MM nor Laser. Still, I remember Interstellar having no preivews because of the length of the film.

Re: Interstellar General Information

There's a slight nod to Interstellar in the latest Southpark episode if anyone saw it.

Re: Trailer #3

I do have to say, I enjoy the second trailer more than the first one. I just find it edited better, and the music is better on the second trailer than the third one (just my opinion, even though the third trailer certainly did have some epic moments). On the question of whether the general public ac...

Re: Trailer #3

Saw Trailer 3 in front of GOTG - it was....glorious and amazing. I didn't really notice viewing the trailer online, but the sudden stop of music that happens at least three times during the trailer has a pretty big effect in a movie theater. It gives you massive goosebumps.
