Re: 1917 (2019)

Roger Deakins was the absolute highlight of this film by far, i really enjoyed it, saw it with a couple of friends, they liked it better than Dunkirk, i feel the climax of the film worked so well, it was truly a rush, but i still remember leaving the theater after Dunkirk, i was shaking, maybe a lit...

Re: TENET - General Information/Discussion/Speculation

This while thing with rob and john going into two almost identical rooms that are sort of mirror reflections of each other reminds me of the quantum experiment with the two "doors" and a particle going throw one, some times both of them at the same time.

Re: Tenet Official Images/Posters

Seems like there are some bold lighting and color choices in this film compared to the rest of Nolan's films, which is a surprise. Especially since he's color blind (right?). It'll be fascinating to see Tenet's full color pallate. I bet it has the most variety of all his films. Speaking of which, I...

Re: Trailer #2

My personal favorite trailer is still the 3rd one for TDKR, it felt so climactic, it truly left like "hope was lost", this one is pretty high up there, the Dunkirk ones have been my least favorite.

Re: Prologue

I can't stop watching the prologue it's so good!!! Without getting into details and specifics of whatever happens in the prologue, what would you say about it? Was it intense, captivating, innovative? i would describe it like Anthony Fantano would: Propulsive, fast paced, gritty, you are thrown off...

Re: TENET - General Information/Discussion/Speculation

There is absolutely little to no need for a film like this to be 3 hours long, it would be self indulgent, and yes the IMAX palette issue will ensure this film is maximum around 2hr45 mins. 3+ hour movies tend to be softer more character driven films, I think people underestimate how washed out an ...

(In an unfortunate turn of events...none of Mr. Christ. films made it to critics' Top 100 list. Here on NF, we bemoan this tragedy. Hopefully post Tenet projects will change how critics perceive Mr. Christ.) https://www.slantmagazine.com/film/the-100-best-films-of-the-2010s/ [amen] I didn’t see Par...
