Re: Christopher Nolan For Making A Bond Movie?

Re: Hoyte van Hoytema's Cinematography

Just got out of an IMAX 70mm screening in NYC. All of the theoretical quantum imagery interspersed with his story was absolutely brilliant. The colors in this film are astonishing.

Re: Oppenheimer - IMAX locations and info thread

Just got out of IMAX 70mm showing in NYC. Pretty big crowd! I thought the aspect ratio jumping was actually really cool and effective in this. I hope Nolan’s next film is entirely in IMAX, I really hope he can successfully pull it off. :gonf:

Re: Christopher Nolan For Making A Bond Movie?

I am praying he stays away from another franchise, let alone a franchise with this many restrictions/setbacks. Agreed. I feel like it would have the highest risk of misfire or split consensus with fans & critics. If this were 2004 and he had the chance as opposed to having Batman run yes he should ...

Ancient historical epic w/ return of RDJ. All in IMAX. Without the patina of digital recreation but huge sets, miniatures and locations. Something like DUNE but real life.

Christian Bale as Winston Emily Blunt as Julia Kenneth Branagh as O'Brien Now we’re talking! or maybe Liam Neeson as O’Brien and Branagh as the shop owner Charrington. Better yet imagine he coaxes Daniel Day Lewis out of retirement.. 1984 is...

Re: Nolanhack's Next Flick

In my heart of hearts, if Nolan is to ever get back into franchise filmmaking and adapt an IP, I hope and dream it's this:

Re: Nolanhack's Next Flick

Re: Bacon: all the more reason to make it! Not really something I’d expect from CN, but the dude led an incredibly interesting life and I must say after reading nearly the rest of his novels and essays, his writing ability really was that elite. And I’d really like to see Bale back in a Nolan film, ...

Yes! They could bring it back closer to the award season like they did with Dunkirk.
If movies get their release dates pushed back due to the strikes that’s even more possible.
