Re: HBO's Game of Thrones

The Winds of Winter is indeed amazing. Sapochnik has got a great eye for spectacle but intrigue just as much. Sapochnik actually wanted to direct episodes four and five this season but the creators insisted on him directing the third so the second one was the fifth. I thought Miguel said he couldn’...

Re: HBO's Game of Thrones

Guys.. remember what Miguel said, episode 3, 4 and 5 are like one story. Dany is too confident in the preview for episode 4. Cersei is going to wipe most of them out. They won this battle, they’re not strong enough to win the next one. They’re exhausted, injured, and not many of them are left tbh. T...

Re: Avengers: Endgame (2019)

Best MCU film for my money. Some of it didn’t make sense to me but I’ve only seen it once so I’m not sure if that’s on me or if it’s the film’s fault. But it’s a nitpick because the relationships, the arcs for every character and FFS FINALLY major risks were taken in this movie. It made Infinity War...

Re: Once Upon a Time in Hollywood (2019)

Reading that article, safe to say, this could be QT’s most mature film next to Jackie Brown. And since Jackie Brown is my fav QT and in my top 10 of all-time, I’m excited.

I found Dany's reaction to Jon (or Aegon) telling her about his claim to the throne... Interersting.

Re: HBO's Game of Thrones

Great episode. Loved how quiet, character-driven and heartfelt it was. Every character had their time. Next week is going to be a stress test from hell! Team fuckin Sansa.

Re: Avengers: Endgame (2019)

Guys, really? I saw a retweet on twitter and it went something like “some of y’all don’t have siblings, and it shows”. It’s banter, they’re bugging each other, nothing more to it. Unless there’s something I don’t know about this Brie/Chris story? I’m baffled that anyone (never mind a shitload of You...

Re: HBO's Game of Thrones

I thought every fan knew this already? ^

That’s what makes the rest of the season more interesting. It’s not a spoiler btw.

Re: HBO's Game of Thrones

Couldn’t have asked for a better premier episode with the march in the beginning, the callbacks to the pilot and the introductions to each character. The reveals, reunions, the right balance of humour/drama (before the season becomes devastating). Somewhat predictable but very well executed. With th...
