Dr Crane or How I Learnt To Stop Worrying And Love The Gas.

Recently,Christopher Nolan talked about one of Batman's fundamental strengths as a character, franchise and intellectual property is reinterpretation. From the high camp of the the 60's through to the current iteration every major Batman artist has left a indelible mark on the Batman mythology and ch...

Re: David Julyan's Score in The Prestige

I think his score has a good presence actually on screen and compliments the film very well, but truth is I consider it more of a mood piece as opposed to a score you can listen to on its own. I think it works as something to accompany the film more than anything. "I think it works as something to ...

Hans Zimmer's TDKR Soundtrack

Tom Hardy died of an accidental OD in his Soho apartment. A maid discovered his body. Thank you. Now I have a perfect excuse to leave this place and never come back. If that distasteful trash is what passes as humor here, have at it. I'm sure Nolan would be proud to call people like yourselves fans...

Pfister will direct his first ever film

I read in the EMPIRE article about Wally Pfister's retirement as a director of photography after THE DARK KNIGHT RISES but I was wondering if there was any confirmation ?

Common camera angles

Trailer 3 is as close to a infusion of Nolan/Pfister' perfection as one could possibly get and contains all the techniques I've previously mentioned (handheld, pushins etc). There is also going to be an American Cinematographer article about the THE DARK KNIGHT RISES's cinematography in August - so k...

And as for the album covert art the minimalist bat-logo design is elegant and functional and is a great, simple image for a album to use. No complaints here.

He's not a misogynist - in the INCEPTION: The Screenplay book he mentions that he always includes 'relatable fears' in his work. Relatable fears like losing a ext...
