Blog Post on Bane breaking the bat

Hey guys. I'm a long time poster here and I come back periodically. I've started a blog and today I wrote about The first Bane Batman fight. Check it out! I'll be posting about Nolan often.

Looper (2012)

I hate doing this, but I just sent allstar an unfocused summary of my thoughts, so I might as well post it here too. Johnson successfully includes more brilliant science fiction ideas into one film than large collections of them in general, and as someone that is an admirer and enthusiast in sci-fi...

Which was deeper?

Your in-depth discussion on the Joker made me wonder what the Joker would have (or did ;) ) think of Bane and his take-over of Gotham. He didn't want to see Batman killed, so would he have actually gone against Bane (no doubt in a subversive way, not an overt one)? Just something fun to ponder... :...

Which was deeper?

Perhaps you're an age where you grew up and intellectually matured between when the dark knight and dark knight rises came out? (that's not a shot I'm at that age, I've just went back to TDK all the time to dig up it's depth). I say this because you seem so in tune with the depth of dark knight ris...

Eric Roberts says The Dark Knight is just entertainment

It sort of sucks that he got to be part of this movie now that he's said this. What a stuck up, shallow point of view. I mean, he doesn't even pretend to be talking specifically about this movie, he just used it as a launching point to make a ridiculously broad judgement on all films made for a lot ...

Which was deeper?

i think TDKR had a deeper villain. the joker is a great theatric liar but since he's an unreliable narrator i cannot take anything he says seriously. so when he says he's an anarchist i call BS because five minutes later he says "everyone left here plays by my rules", which is the complete opposite...

Continuity with the first two films (Innocence and children)

Great to see the way this thread has taken off, when I first started it I wrote for almost an hour and then the thread just sat, and my time felt wasted, but this has been worth the wait. Talia's story is interesting, she clearly has a bitterness that her protector was outcast-ed for injuries he go...

Continuity with the first two films (Innocence and children)

Bane clearly makes that point when he says "There's a reason why this prison is the worst hell on earth... Hope. Every man who has ventured here over the centuries has looked up to the light and imagined climbing to freedom. It's actually "Every man who's rotted here over the centuries." I correct ...

Continuity with the first two films (Innocence and children)

Great to see the way this thread has taken off, when I first started it I wrote for almost an hour and then the thread just sat, and my time felt wasted, but this has been worth the wait. Ah, yes...Talia. We haven't mentioned her as a child of lost innocence yet in this thread. She lost both of her ...
