Re: A newbie's theory
I don't know if that was at me or not. But yeah, can you explain Saito = Mal? Yeah i can explain simply.Saito says "Take a Leap of Faith" and later in the movie Mal says the same.So maybe Saito has also the forger tecnic. I thought (chronologically) Mal said the leap of faith line before Saito duri...

Re: Some Important Unanswered Questions (and some nitpick on
Thanks man that definitely helped a lot. I have watched it several times, probably around six or seven now. Most of these things just didn't make sense when I added them up one way or another and just needed a little clearing up, they make sense now. I completely spaced on the dreamer being able to ...

Re: DEFINITIVE INCEPTION THEORY
Yeah the first scene is just a foreshadow of the last scene where Saito's in limbo and Cobb finds him. Cobb's look can be interpreted in many different ways, I think it's supposed to be him realizing/remembering why he's there. Additionally, if the first scene was indeed a sequence of Saito's first ...

Re: Some Important Unanswered Questions (and some nitpick on
I understand 99.9% of the film. Most of these are nitpick questions that annoy me and are hard to figure out. I'm not going to let this film become more of an obsession than it already is, I have s**t to do. I do think the train tracks should have been seen in the Limbo world too. I don't get why it...

Who is Borden? Who is Fallon?
For sake of discussion, I'll refer to "Borden" as the one who loves Sarah, and "Fallon" will be the one who loved Olivia. Is "Borden" both the performer and the engineer? Personally I think so (see long explanation below). Does that mean that "Fallon" has no role other than for the Transported Man? ...

Re: Some Important Unanswered Questions (and some nitpick on
Good sh*t man thank you. Definitely makes sense. 3.) But are all the other buildings in good shape because of his memory? 8.) But isn't he thankful for being killed by Saito when he wakes up? I mean yeah you could say he couldn't do it because he loved her too much, but if he loved her wouldn't he j...

Re: A newbie's theory
I think Saito = Mal is extremely likely. I think there's something deeper with Saito but I don't know what it is. Perhaps Saito is Cobb's father in law, Mal's father. I think he would know her tendencies well and could still exist at the same time that Mal does, the "Leap of faith" phrase repeated ...
