Re: Oppenheimer - Awards Speculation

I’ve never been more anxious for an awards season before 😳 Not even on Dunkirk year.

I feels like Nolan really caught a lightning in a bottle with Oppenheimer and might walk away with 2 or more Oscars to his name. It really is his year. If he doesn’t win this time, I’m afraid it’s game over

Re: Oppenheimer - Awards Speculation

According to most predictions, Oppenheimer is the clear front runner in Best Picture and Best Director. Also has a chance in Adapted Screenplay. I think it’s greatest competition will be Killers of the Flower Moon, so we’ll have to wait one more week to see what Nolan is up against. There’s also a l...

Re: Soundtrack: Göransson or Zimmer?

"We fight like cats and dogs but in the best, the most productive way. We love each other, with everything that comes with that. We fight like brothers at times and we love like brothers. It’s an extraordinary partnership and a wonderful creative collaboration, but we do things and dive into things...

Dunkirk is the most technically difficult score ever made, & it's not even close. Nolan said "No one's ever mixed music in this way, and no one ever will again" (BAFTA Q&A in London).
I still can't believe they lost the Oscar that year :(

Re: Cast

I want Cillian and Tom Hardy in the same scene again.
And of course a Michael Caine cameo

Cillian finally taking the lead role in a Nolan film will be amazing.

Re: Soundtrack: Göransson or Zimmer?

The Tenet score was great, but nothing beats the Nolan/Zimmer collaborations for me. I want Zimmer back :D

If I had to suggest someone new it'd be Ramin Djawadi. He is still not Zimmer, but it seems to me he is writing compositions with a similar approach.

Re: Ludwig Göransson will compose Tenet

I’m not gonna lie, I’m drastically less excited for this film than I was for any of Nolan’s previous films, knowing Hans won’t do the score. Ludwig might do well, but the score was one of the most favorite aspect in each one of Nolan’s latest films, and a huge reason why I love to go back to these m...

Re: Ludwig Göransson will compose Tenet

Before composer Ludwig Göransson even received his engraved Academy Award for winning best original score in 2019 for Black Panther, the win was already paying dividends. “ The next day after the Oscars, I got the call from Christopher Nolan’s people saying that Chris wanted to hire him on his next...

Is it related to Inception?
By watching the prologue I say 100% NO. I didn't catch most of the dialogue so IF there's an Inception reference in the prologue it's in the dialogue but I highly doubt it.
Praise the Lord!!

Re: Prologue

If you have any questions please feel free to ask them :) I'm free all day and I am excited to share my Nolan-passion with others. Im obviously the only one in my family and sadly only one of a few in my filmmaker community with that amount of passion towards our lord and savior :gonf: Is it relate...
