Beautiful thread! Nolan obviously dressed them similarly to give the audience that initial thought of "Is this a memory/dream?", and it got me first time round, but the totem wobbling instantly canceled that out for me. Now I can finally prove to my friends that the kids are older and dressed differ...

If the ending is not a dream, than how did Miles know to pick Cobb up at the airport. In an earlier scene with Cobb in the classroom, Miles never learns the details of the mission and has no idea whether the mission succeeds or fails, so how did he know to be at the airport where Cobb had landed.
