Re: Predict: Movies in 2019

Financially. They won't be critical darlings, but they will have their fans, similar to how Venom and Jumunji did. Yeah, that seems reasonable. Here are my own predictions: Velvet Buzzsaw will have very polarized responses. Alita: Battle Angel will bomb. Dumbo will flop. DC and Marvel will both rel...

Re: Predict: Movies in 2019

13. Nope, I read the Black List script, and I find that unlikely. I can imagine a backlash in some capacity, but I doubt it'd be huge. What sort of backlash could Jojo Rabbit get anyway? I’ve not read the script obviously, so I have no idea. I can imagine a vocal minority trying to pull some unfoun...

Re: Predict: Movies in 2019

Ok, so I'll start: 1. Star Wars Episode IX will NOT backtrack on anything from The Last Jedi 2. The Irishman will be a disappointment and the VFX will look awkward at times 3. Re: Nolan's Next Film

Really hoping he goes back to Hughes someday, he sounded really passionate about it, and Carrey seemed like a good fit, and Nolan reviving his career would be amazing. I understand that since it is quite a few years later, the likelihood of Carrey doing it is slim, but I can dream. Also wishing this...

Re: 2018-2019 Awards Season
