The main villain is Bane, someone the general public is not to familiar with. I mean to say we have a fresh story without the aid of a popular character like Joker (though Catwoman doesn't hurt). So when this film is great, after Tom Hardy and Anne Hathaway deliver shockingly excellent performances...
