I think Libatique for me, but still got to see True Grit.
Love for Wally's work anyway.

Re: THE 83RD ACADEMY AWARDS: 2011
Found this on imdb.com while ago, I'm pretty sure it will look like this 25. January. I don't agree with a few noms and would change the order in most of them, but anyway, choices for noms are 90%+ accurate for me. IndianaJones1981 from imdb.com is behind those: "BEST MOTION PICTURE 01. The Social N...

Re: The INCEPTION Oscars® Discussion Thread
I'm starting to hate this year Cinematography section, and that's because I'm truly not convinced who should win it. I mean, we have Wally, whose work is simply top-notch, but then Libatique impressed me even more I think... And I didn't see "True Grit" so far, and it looks like it also has some sho...

Re: Golden Globes
Glad for few things... mad at others like The Tourist performances being nominated, RED being nominated and Burlesque, True Grit being dumped (what was the reason for True Grit not being nominated at anything?... scheduling problems?)... Anyways... a lot of sh*t nominees... Yeah, just read somewher...

Re: Golden Globes
Oh, wow.
So there are plenty of "wtf-s" and surprises, but generally I think they chose decently.
And Mila Kunis - Golden Globe Nominee. Yeah!
Edit: But wait... Wahlberg over DiCaprio and Bridges? What the heck is goin on?
And surely, those noms for "The Tourist" feel just wrong.

Re: Black Swan trailer!!! WOW!!
Looks like Art-Direction is also between Black Swan and Inception. We'll see. I'm curious about supporting actress category. More precisely, curious about chances of Mila Kunis to make it there. People say that oscars noms should go to Leo for "The Fighter", Adams - the same, Weaver for "Animal King...

Re: Black Swan trailer!!! WOW!!
Oops, yeah, I meant Cinematography, just because of how those two categories names sound like in my language I still make mistakes (naming them opposite) when I'm not focused.RomanM wrote:Libatique was the Director of Photography. David Stein was art director.

Re: THE 83RD ACADEMY AWARDS: 2011
I respect your opinion, but you forgot to mention Christopher Nolan and I would like to know why you forgot him? That's because I think that the only section he deserved winning this year is best original screenplay - which he will be nominated for and has pretty good chance of winning ("King's Spe...
