Re: Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker (2019)

^ I don’t think these issues are as problematic as you or some not at all but I worry things may become much worse with Terrio co-writing. I still can’t convince myself of that choice.

Looks okay imo. A lot less campy than Vaughn's film

Just saw it. It's amazing, it's absolutely amazing. What a wonderful news. Damien's just blown everything up.

And Brad Pitt is also in discussion to star, it's absolutely incredible.

One of the most anticipated of the next years already.
Pitt hasn’t even met for the project yet.

Re: Barbie (TBD)

lol With Birds of Prey getting great test screening buzz and following that up with Gunn’s Suicide Squad and Gerwig’s Barbie it seems Margot can be a part of some acclaimed blockbusters finally to go along with her collaborations with Scorsese, Tarantino and films like I Tonya. Armie Hammer or Chris...

I'm a huge fan of Edwards and initially was really excited. I was skeptical based on its troubled production, so-so trailers, and comparatively middling reviews to TFA.

I was crushed that I thought it was a mess. I still am, truthfully. So much wasted potential.

Fair enough.

Re: Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker (2019)

Just making a guess and logical assumption based on my tastes. It’s more unique to have the ambiguity for a series like this. I’m open to being surprised. fair, but i double dare you (and anyone else on NF) to keep as open a mind for TROS as i kept for TLJ -Vader I will. I know you had a very open ...

Re: Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker (2019)

I agree. Perhaps “need” wasn’t the right word but I was trying to say I’m already perfectly satisfied with the explanation of Rey’s parentage. Her not fully “knowing” everything or us the audience adds to the tragedy. What you're actually saying is ambiguity of her heritage is more tragic than what...

Re: Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker (2019)

We don’t need any more explanation on her parents. Also, it kind of sounds like you’re back pedaling on your long held and firm thoughts with “I agree in general”. I would really prefer JJ not to go for unpredictability just for the sake of it.

Re: Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker (2019)

There vids aren’t that serious but they’re just plain boring regardless. Some are really overlooking the fact Terrio is cowriting this however.
