Re: Inception vs Strange Days

For me, Strange Days was a truly awful film. Despite that, the memory sequences were enjoyable.

I have to say, it came as quite a surprise seeing him listed on IMDb for Inception (only just noticed). Always a pleasure to see him on screen, in any film, bad or good.

No, they really are in Inception, and Chris got them and the city background in camera.

You mean, like this (only he doesn't look actually surprised for me):

P.S. Sorry, wrong picture :)

I will lend my support for "Nolan Face" smiley in the forums. This is Nolan Fans, it's obligatory, isn't it?

The first 3rd is probably some of the best film on celluloid around, but the rest, innevitably, didn't quite match it. Still, a great film, but I think Jesse James should have won best picture.

Re: New Inception Article: American Cinematographer

lol, I love this picture: http://i48.tinypic.com/2dh9n2p.png Christopher Nolan "giving the kick". More like doing the can-can with Wally. Yes, it might have started out innocently enough, but just look at that enemy dude to the right reeling from that kick to the face. That'll wake you up.

Re: Nolan: Star Wars sparked Inception

I think this is Christopher Nolan playing his hand at marketing, and I'm sure these film have undeniably had some sort of impact on Chris; however when you mention films such as Star Wars, Avatar, Michael Bay films, and The Matrix it helps, by association, to foster a larger anticipation on the wide...
