Re: Tenet User Reviews/Reactions [Possible SPOILERS]

I'm at a 7 out of 10 with Tenet. For me, it felt like a tremendous exercise — a string of conceptually fascinating and beautifully rendered action scenes with little to offer in terms of compelling conflict. I think of Neil and the Protagonist bungee-jumping into Priya's home. It's stunning, but all...

RT is now 71%.

5 rotten in a row... and one is 3/5 buts is marked rotten.
I think the sentiment matters more than the numerical score. He gave it a 3/5 but called it "nothing more than sci-fi mumbo jumbo and espionage bafoonery"

I love Denis, one of my favourite directors, but it really gets on my nerves when his fanboys shit on Chris so much, they are different directors, also Denis takes written scripts, Chris writes his own, Villeneuve is all about atmosphere and themes, Chris is all about narrative and larger than life...

Re: HBO's Girls

I got 10 minutes into episode 1 of the new season and I shut it down. I just feel so upset watching this fucking show; there's nothing appealing about it and every character has so many forced flaws that any redeeming qualities seem completely nonexistent. fuck this There's something fascinating to...

It's amazing now to think about The Hunger Games debuting with $152 million.

I don't blame them. The two films open a week apart.

Re: Godzilla (2014)

Anyone who thinks the CG needs to be pristine for the film to be effective needs to check out Gareth Edwards' Monsters.
