Well Mark Rylance said very early on that it could be a "pure war film" and action would start immediately, and the cast agreed that Nolan had such specific vision so I very much doubt that the view changed midway. Still box office is hard to predict, I just want it to make even at least.

I don't hold out much hope for the Oscar and all its politics. I think the chance is slim there anyway and I'm not really the awards' fan ;) I'll be pleasantly surprised if Dunkirk wins best director or best picture.
