Re: Interstellar's Soundtrack

Just a bit more audio-porn to sustain you till the 19th Nov.

This chap has done an acoustic guitar rendition of the theme. Not my favourite, but still good. And there's a guitar tab included with his video in case any of you play the guitar.

Re: 'Interstellar' Nolan Fans Member Reviews

Where do I start.. The ending felt rushed, especially Murph solving Gravity and Coop being brought out of the Tesseract. I felt there could have been a bit more time spent on the relationship between Murph and Coop at the beginning as well. It almost seemed quite sudden how he left her. But that's j...

Re: Hoyte van Hoytema as Director of Photography

Whilst Wally is awesome, he's got a very modern feel to his cinematography. Hoyte brought a really earthy (irony eh?) to Interstellar. It felt so vintage - unlike anything I have ever seen in a blockbuster in a long time. Loved it. Both are awesome. It totally depends on what Nolan wants to do next.

Re: What's Your Favorite Scene?

Docking was so well done. When they started spinning you could just feel that ridiculous G-force in the cinema as MM gave orders to TARS.

It was so well directed. Anne Hathaway is pretty much silent in that scene with all that G-force.

Heroic moment for Coop!

Re: The "Scientific Critics" of Interstellar

This movie is excellent. The science is dead-on, and as you would come to expect from Christopher Nolan, the story is excellent as well. I wanted to write this in case some of you have been scared off by those that have written articles criticizing the science in this movie. Just know, that those p...

Re: Rank the cast of Interstellar

MM was perfect. 10/10 for me.

The rest of the cast were also good but a special mention has to go to the young actress who played his daughter and the actor who played his son. Top notch.

Re: Interstellar General Film Discussion Thread

I just came out of the cinema after watching the movie in 70mm IMAX at the Science Museum here in London. I have been completely and utterly blown away. This was the best cinematic experience of my life. The visuals were incredible, and the film so brilliant. The movie itself might not be a 10/10. B...
