Re: Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015)

Excellent teaser trailer! JJ has nailed the look and feel of Star Wars, giving everything a fresh update while retaining that classic aesthetic. Sounds were iconic, the droid was memorable, the storm troopers were slick, the Sith was badass, cool lightsaber hilt, and that X-wing shot was amazing... ...

Re: 'Interstellar' Nolan Fans Member Reviews

Just got back from a second viewing and this film just went up a notch for me. I loved it the first time around, but you all know how Nolan's films work. They get better with repetitive viewings and this is no exception. Without spoiling things, there were so many small details and plotting that I q...

Re: Interstellar General Film Discussion Thread

Re: What's Your Favorite Scene?

Soo many to choose from. I'll bring up one that nobody has talked about yet When Coop and Brand are sling shotting around gargantuan and coop releases his drop ship into the black hole. Then when Coop ejects out of the drop ship and the booming music/sounds of the ship being ripped apart go silent,...

Re: 'Interstellar' Nolan Fans Member Reviews

RottenTomatoes can go jump off a cliff /10 Exactly. Those negative RT reviewers actually enhanced my love for this movie because they lowered my expectations. Boy, that sure was foolish. I just left an IMAX showing and couldn't say anything but "Wow". Where do you even begin on an analysis of such ...

Re: How many people are you going with? Spreading word of mo

I'm seeing it tomorrow night on IMAX with three of my best friends. Two are guys and one is a girl. She's the biggest sci-fi nerd of them, on par with my sci-fi fanaticism. One of my friends is a converted Nolan fan because of me. I was the first friend to show him Memento and The Prestige, both of ...

Re: Have Your Thoughts On The Movie Changed Since Its Releas

My thoughts have slightly changed, only because time has dimmed the effect of the massive pre-release hype. I had never anticipated a film as much as TDKR and so when it was finally released, it never had a chance at living up to my expectations. Also, so much of the movie was teased and spoiled bef...
