All of which are fairly normal behaviors when someone meets a famous person they admire. I did the same things when I met Kip Thorne; am I also an android?

Re: Was Cooper Training for the Lazarus Missions?

Nope.
COOPER: None of them had family?
BRAND: No attachments. My father insisted.
At the time of the crash, Cooper had Donald and Tom. Murph may or may not have been born, and his wife was likely still alive. Ergo, automatically disqualified from Lazarus because of a family.

Reimagining Interstellar's Shuttles: a mock design study

Decided to put this in its own thread instead of taking over the "Scientific Critics of Interstellar" thread. List of all previous posts for this project can be found within the spoiler tag below. 1. Re: Interstellar General Information

CinemaSins has finally done it... I've been waiting for this one for quite a while. Put in a spoiler tag due to length. Jesus that truck caught up to that drone so fast... It's a 10-year-old aging drone with a possibly faulty guidance system. Probably not at peak performance. Can't imagine a future...

Re: Interstellar: That annoying Paradox

Is it plausible that the human race did become extinct from the blight, however humans were somehow able to transcend into 4th dimensional beings? We are already 4D. Three spatial dimensions and one temporal. I read a few things on the Web that some believe when you die, you leave you physical body...

Re: The "Scientific Critics" of Interstellar

No, I haven't abandoned my "more realistic Ranger" project. If anyone's interested, here's part 1 of the report I'm writing; basically, everything before I introduce the design itself. It's inside a spoiler tag due to length alone. Take note this is a first draft. Criticism welcome. REIMAGINING INTE...

Re: Interstellar General Information

http://io9.com/sorry-interstellar-we-just-saw-some-of-the-martian-an-1699793860 I hate this kind of bitching on Interstellar. The article says "this is the gritty, space survivalist film we have been waiting for" and then proceeds to compare it to INTERSTELLAR, which was in no way intended to be a ...

Re: Interstellar Fan Art

Still, how cool would it be to have something like this be a Nolan Fans community project using a LEGO digital designer and (somehow) turning that into a reality? stoifics42, you're up. Thanks for the vote of confidence, but I'm nowhere near as good at designing Lego sets as the guy you already lin...

Watch the rest. The tour of the Endurance set is fascinating.
Especially when they look around the damaged module with debris suspended from strings.
