Bill Irwin Reuniting with Anne Hathaway in Christopher Nolan’s Interstellar

TheWrap is reporting that Christopher Nolan has recruited veteran character actor Bill Irwin to the cast of Interstellar. Irwin most notably received acclaim for his role in Rachel Getting Married, in which he played the father of upcoming co-star Anne Hathaway. He is also known for his roles in the films How The Grinch Stole Christmas and Lady in the Water, as well as for his repeat appearances on TV shows like Sesame Street and CSI.

Phase 1 of Nolan Fans Version 4 Revealed

It’s been nearly four and a half years since we launched Nolan Fans, and in that time we’ve seen the site grow into something we couldn’t have predicted. In the past we’ve redesigned the Nolan Fans website on its birthday, January 13th, but our previous design proved strong enough to last a couple birthdays. This year, we really wanted surpass the second and third versions of Nolan Fans. We wanted to take a bigger step forward in design; we wanted to advance and streamline the user experience. We spent a great amount of time rebuilding the site from the ground up, and we’re thrilled to be finally launching the fourth version of Nolan Fans.

Hans Zimmer is Already Writing for Christopher Nolan’s Interstellar

Perhaps less surprising than when it was revealed Michael Caine was joining the cast, our friends at Collider revealed this weekend that Hans Zimmer will be scoring Christopher Nolan’s Interstellar. Zimmer started working with Nolan in 2005 when he co-scored Batman Begins with James Newton Howard. Nolan’s next film, The Prestige, featured a score by David Julyan, a friend of Christopher’s who scored the director’s previous films. But in 2010 Christopher Nolan chose Hans Zimmer to score Inception, solidifying the working relationship between the two. Their collaboration proved so successful that James Newton Howard gracefully chose not to return for The Dark Knight Rises because he wanted Zimmer and Nolan to continue growing together.
