“And the Oscar goes to…” Last night the 90th Academy Awards ceremony was broadcast live from the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood. Christopher Nolan’s Dunkirk was nominated for a total of 8 awards, including Best Picture and Best Director. By the end of the night Dunkirk walked away with a total of 3 awards. Lee Smith for Best Editing, Richard King and Alex Gibson for Best Sound Editing, and Mark Weingarten, Gregg Landaker and Gary A. Rizzo for Best Sound Mixing.
