It is out of complete respect and appreciation for Michael Caine that we write this fairly unsurprising announcement that the legendary British actor is the latest to join the cast of Christopher Nolan’s Interstellar. Deadline broke the story about the Oscar winner reuniting with Christopher Nolan for their sixth project together. Last year Caine teased about already being cast in the film before it was even announced, as both Caine and Nolan have joked about how the actor is Nolan’s good luck charm. Michael Caine joins the increasingly impressive cast of Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, and Jessica Chastain. Interstellar hits theaters and IMAX next November.
