zimmer inception signing How To Get Two Bonus Tracks From The Inception Score

Hans Zimmer and WaterTower Music are offering the download of 2 exclusive tracks from the highly praised score to Inception starting today. “How do I get these two bonus tracks?” you ask?  Well, it’s quite simple actually. All you really need to do is: go to InceptionScore.com and sign up with your email address when prompted. Once you complete that easy task, they’ll direct you to a download of 2 previously unreleased tracks – titled “Projections” and “Don’t Think About Elephants.”  And presto! Two exclusive tracks from the soundtrack are yours for your listening enjoyment!

If you haven’t already purchased the full soundtrack, which I highly recommend, you can order the physical CD from Amazon.com or get digital downloads at the Amazon MP3 Store and iTunes. Which track from the score is your favorite?

Got ‘em! My favorites are Time, Mombassa, The Dream is Callapsing and many others.

The downloads aren’t available to those of us in the UK :( There is no place to sign up using an email address.

Still, it’s a fantastic album with ’528491′, ‘Mombasa’ and ‘Time’ being the best of a brilliant bunch.

  • Shannon

Mombassa is my absolute favorite, it is my most played song on my iPod, behind Zack Hemsey’s Mind Heist. See the connection there! The whole score is just fabulous though and Projections is such a gem of a song, I’m so happy they released it.

    Sweeeeet.

  • Will

I think there might be something wrong with “Don’t Think About Elephants” because it just cuts off at the 1:16 point while my iTunes points out it’s a 7 plus minute song.

But as one of the posters above pointed out, Projections is an excellent achievement from Zimmer and I’m glad fans are able to get it.

  • Jamie

    Great I’ll do it now

  • Jeremy

I am having the same problem, Will. The Elephants track cuts off at 1:17 for me. Any way to get this fixed or get a better version?

  • Dark enV

Cool. My favorite tracks are Time, Mombassa, and 528491

  • Vanny 0012

I’m also having the same prob with the Elephants track. It would be strange that they intended this on purpose. Hoping a correct version will be online soon!

  • JRFuerst

    Nice!

I’m going to combine the tracks and make an Inception Symphony in 4 movies. I’m a classical musician…I’m strange. I do that to any movie soundtrack I like.

  • JRFuerst

That meant to say in 4 movements.

By the way – Projections….I can’t quite tell if this the beginning movie in the opening dream….sounds like it….

  • JRFuerst

Don’t Thnk About Elephants sounds like the music in the third stage.

  • Vanny 0012

    They fixed the Elephants problem… It’s now 5: 36 !!!!

  • JRFuerst

As for Don’t Think About Elephants….iTunes says it a 5:36 and the whole thing plays for me. It appears they may have fixed it.

  • EMIRC-DNIM

SWEEET! My favorites are Half Remembered Dream, 528491, and Mombassa.

  • Shannon

Don’t Think About Elephants is so freaking epic now! Good god, I love both of them. Hans Zimmer, you clever bastard you.

  • Bryan

This is awesome… thank you Hans Zimmer!

  • Zahin Sakib

Old Souls and Dream is Collapsing are my favorite tracks.

  • brother maynard

“528491″ and “time” are in my top 5 songs i have ever heard. up there with “a dark knight” and the sunshine adagio

  • #1fan

    just got them

  • nfp

Does “Old Souls” remind any one of the score of Blade Runner, the “Tears in Rain” esp. or any other of Vangelis’ ambient music in general?? or am I the only one who felt so? :P & i somehow cant remember where it was played in the movie. could someone please tell me where Old Souls plays in the movie? Anyways, i loved “Time” & “Old Souls” a lot and then 528491 & Mombassa too…

  • Ron

Don’t Think About Elephants just replaced Time as my favorite song on the soundtrack!

  • Jamie

Time is probably my favourite track but they are all really good anyway

  • Michael

A great composer. My favourite track is Time, it just takes you away to another place.

  • Liam

Waiting for a Train gives all the anxiety of the climax into an immensely powerful song. It’s everything that makes the Inception score so great.

  • Rezzo

Any chance these are available in higher quality?

  • Michael

Time is simply the best track.

    novel and book

  • Jonathan

Just listening to the two bonus tracks now. I think the released soundtrack is fantastic, but my two favourite tracks for the moment are Old Souls and especially One Simple Idea: sleek and sensuous.

  • Javi

I can’t get enough of Old Souls. But the soundtrack as a whole is such a great listen really.

  • mike

i was wondering …..these two new tracks…..did Zimmer actually create entirely both songs?? if so I am completely impressed

  • ThePhantomTerror

Time, Mombassa, and Dream is Collapsing.

The track called Time on the inception soundtrack is amazingly inspiring… Mind Heist by Zack Hemsey is the trailer track of all time

i def agree with you Phantomterror… those tracks are def the best on the soundtrack… the soundtrack overall is amazing… When i listen to the OST I get inspired to write my screenplays

My favorite would be Time. I love listening to it after coming home from work at night. Both haunting, yet hopeful and inspiring in a sense. Yet, poetic and beautiful at the same time.

  • chris w

I love Time, Mombassa, 528491, One Simple Idea…oh who am I kidding. I LOVE THEM ALL!

  • Cobb

The bonus tracks are a great addition to the already perfect soundtrack. My favorite tracks are Dream Is Collapsing, 528491, Mombassa, Waiting For A Train, and Time.

  • John

I really hope Zimmer winds up releasing the complete score of ‘Inception’, like he and James Newton-Howard did for The Dark Knight. There’re just so many awesome variations on the main musical themes, “One Simple Idea” being chief among them, that it’s a huge shame not to have them be able to stand on their own.

  • Scott

Ok I’ve downloaded the 2 tracks and I can’t play them on my wmv or itunes. What gives.

  • al

hi..i got the bonus tracks..they are cool, can anyone tell me the correct order that they go in the score to match the film? thnx

  • cj

the rotating hallway fight sequence is not don’t think about elephants…where can i find that song?
