Inception finally opened up in Europe today. I went to Amsterdam to watch it in imax and it is absolutely the most amazing film I’ve ever seen. Every second of this movie is brilliant. It is just the perfect movie. Period. It just can’t get any better. Can’t wait for an analysis podcast from alex and teddy.

This movie is so full of nihilistic and existentialistic views.
It’s a sad story about two old men (“Cobb” and “Saito”) who choose to “live forever” in dream realm(s) made possible by future technology.
Nolan is a genius, but the story is a very sad one.

Saw it last night. WOW. I had to travel out of town to see it in IMAX for full effect, as I did for TDK too. After managing to avoid every trailer, I am so glad I didn’t go in knowing any details, as it just makes it even more breathtaking. I can’t put into words how I feel, because it is simply that amazing. I now have a craving to see it again, which I will tomorrow(albeit in a regular cinema). Definitely requires repeat viewings. Thank you Chris Nolan, for bringing back true film. Thank you.

Just got back from seeing it. Holy… I don’t even know how to put into words how good this movie is. So I’ll keep it short and simple. Inception is the best movie I have ever seen (I literally mean that by the way), and I have seen a JAPLOAD of movies. Long story short, go see this movie. Then see it again. And again. And again. (That’s what I’m gonna’ do )

Just saw it! Christopher Nolan is god!

It was a Premiere. Here in France the movie actualy starts on July 21. I will obviously go to see it again (and again) to clarify some details and above all enjoy this awesome movie again!

John C – I couldn’t agree with you more. Everyone else, if you don’t want to spoil a movie don’t even MENTION an ending. Don’t even allude to it. Don’t even type the word. Seriously.

Just got back from seeing it and was blown away. For those who have to wait longer to experience it, I feel for you. But know this, I’ve been following Inception’s production since it was officially announced (9 or 10 months ago?)….

….It was worth the wait. And I am still giddy.

c’mon, you should put “SPOILERS” in there if you talk about the film. I read a few comments and now I’m trying just not to look

in my country it starts on 30 of July so I have at least 2 more weeks until I see it. man… i wanna read post, reviews, forums about Inception but everywhere I look there are spoilers ( no one wants to go to a movie knowing key elements of the movie.

@phonebush: that’s weird, the turnout at my theater was pretty fucking big. people literally were taking chairs from the lobby of the main theater and carrying them upstairs to the top of the imax theater. and i’d say around 95% of the audience was under the age of 35, but i don’t think i saw anyone under 18. and surprisingly few geeks. it was mostly hipsters and “cool orange county” types. i was really surprised at how big the turnout was.
