“Reality Behind Inception” Playing During Theater Previews

A featurette about the filming of Christopher Nolan’s next film, Inception, has apparently begun playing during theater previews this weekend. We received one report from an avid Nolan fan that this was shown during the pre-trailer previews of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time at an AMC theater.

Some of the shots described to us included Tom Hardy’s character at a poker table, Leonardo DiCaprio in the ocean, surrounded by crewmen. There was also some footage of Christopher Nolan at a rotating set, directing. Cillian Murphy was also seen in this wearing a snow suit. New shots of some dialog between DiCaprio, Ellen Page, and Ken Watanabe. And lastly, some footage of the crew filming shots in the snow and filming DiCaprio trying to get through a mob of people (probably in Tangier.)

Awesome! I’ve already seen Prince of Persia, and it sucked, so I’m not going back for a second viewing. But if there’s anyone here who hasn’t seen it yet, take one for the team and go see it to record this featurette. We will all owe you, big time.

What?!?! That is nuts! I just saw PoP (at a Clearviews theater) and I’m would so not go again but now I might have to go to my local AMC theater to check this out. Damnit. >.<

What is the thing called at AMC before the movies. I know at Regal it’s The First Look. Because if it is the same thing I work at Regal and would tape it. I’m not sure if we have it. I haven’t been an Usher while we’ve had Prince of Persia yet.

For people not wanting to see anything more related to Inception – GOOD NEWS!!! The featurette is attached to PRINCE OF PERSIA, and only at AMC theaters! That’s like burying a diamond in 100 gallons of elephant dung. If you wanna see it, go for it – but not many will endure the stench to get to the gem.

Where are these theaters located? It seems that they are pretty crappy?

We have the Marcus Theater chain where I am here, they are pretty good.

The “Reality Behind Inception” is part of the First Look segment shown before ALL AMC movies.

I saw the segment today as part of First Look segment prior to “Sex & City 2″ , so you can view it before any AMC movie
