I think Cotillard is on Leo’s side still…she was infiltrating Watanabe’s group and then Leo arrives and she pretends like she’s gonna shoot him and then she holds the gun to Watanabe’s head and he kills her.

He said that he needed put in 5 times the effort for Inception than a normal film because it a complex story. Also he says in the interview that because Chris Nolan wanted the plot to remain so secret he could not even tell his family about it. In addition he also says that some of the physical scenes were difficult because of his age.
