the release dates are set from the 16th July to the 3rd of September in most European countries.. i would assume that it would be released more towards End August in the Asian countries

of course – studios trust him to make a good movie, but not in terms of standard summerblockbuster that makes lot of money for moneys sake, like 8 out of 10 hollywood summer movies do. Of course, I don’t hope Inception will flop at the boxoffice, because I wish Nolan all luck.

i agree i dont think he can look at it being a blockbuster…he can never know whats going to happen..

But knowing Nolan, he is a quality filmaker, and the studios have trusted him to make a great movie based on his past movies

For me it’s lot more important the kvality of the movie, and not the worldwide boxoffice rekord. Nolan don’t now who the audience will connect withe he’s movies and Inception.The main thing is, that Nolan do he’s best.

Of course he cares about money.. how can he not? even though this is a personal project of his..he is risking his reputation on this movie being a blockbuster…

if this movie bombs..his credibilty as a visionary filmker takes a dive..

The movie business is all about the money that it brings in..and the studios look for a filmaker that can bring it in..based on Nolans success with Batman and the Dark Knight, they are gambling on the movie being a hit
