The one thing that makes me, sort of sad is that with Batman 3, Nolan “wraps up” his Trilogy. Sigh !!!

So here’s a random idea, sure Nolan is great (he’s my favourite director…also I’m from Canada so we spell “favourite” with a “u”)and I love everything that he’s done with the films. IF he is ending “his” story…wouldn’t it be a good idea to include the Joker once again as the primary antagonist in the film? Now I know you’re all thinking “Yeah as soon as he bring Heath back from the dead he’ll get right on that” So here’s what I’m proposing:

I along with many of my friends are aspiring actors, call me crazy but one of my friends bears a resemblance to Heath Ledger and does a perfect Joker Impression. The plan is to make a demo tape (full make up and costume), send it off to Warner Brothers and post it all over the internet (viral marketing yada yada) basically try to get their attention and see if they’re interested. It’s a long shot people but if you like the video (it’ll be up on Youtube in at least 2-3 weeks) we could really use the support. I mean it could be an epic fail, (how reliable is my judgment right?)Anyway there are already two old trial videos we made for a school event. Unfortunately for the first one the make up is flooded by the light and in the second his hair was short so we improvised with a terribly crappy wig but it’s the impression that matters. The Demo video will be made with a higher quality of everything so don’t take the old videos as the proof that I’m supposedly trying to sway all of you with here. Anyway just an idea, I’d like to know what you guys think.

If they’re going to finish these films, they have to finish it the right way.

Preposterous! How dare they end Batman after a third movie! If they ended the previous series after Batman Forever then we’d never have gotten Batman & Rob… Oh, wait.

There are a lot of characters, but what those characters can offer to the story is another matter. Just adding them just to add them is ridiculous and ends up like the old Batman series.

^ I agree it would be awesome, but Nolan doesn’t want to do this for the rest of his life. I really wish there was an animated series or something set in this universe, that would be awesome to explore all the possibilities.

I pumped for theses releases too but a little disappointed at the same time. I wanted more than a trilogy. I understand you have to stop somewhere but there are still so many characters left to include…

I totally agree. Please do more than 3. Ideal would be 5 or 6 films. There are just too many characters, villians, story, and the mythos of Batman to end at 3 films. We just got started!!!

Good job keeping Batman away from other DC movies. And it’s a good idea keeping these characters relatively separate instead of having each film be an extended commercial for an eventual team-up movie like Marvel’s doing.

And best of all, Goyer’s not writing!
