Some of these characters/plotlines are still in debate and development. I am sure they may/will change.

Unknown Cast – Chester Cobblepot, AKA The Penguin– A do good gangster that is in cahoots with the Mayor to track down Batman (Quite possibly, may be the Mayor himself). A secret Arms Dealer who is out to get rid all of the “Freaks”… Including Batman, the Riddler, and the Joker. I was told to picture Carmine Falconi (Tom Wilkinson’s role in Batman Begins), meets Tony Soprano.

Justin Timberlake – Robin – Ha ha ha… Just Kidding. I had to throw a joke in there. Some of the rumors are so ridiculous!!! I actually read a rumor (by a sixteen year old) that they were considering him for Robin.
Good News – No Robin, Catwoman, or Bat-Girl!!!!!!!!!!!!! They will be mentioned as an inside joke in the movie. Good for you, Christopher Nolan!!!!

That is all I have heard so far. I do not know about returning characters such as Commissioner Gordon or Alfred.

Oh yeah… One more thing… The movie will be named: GOTHAM CITY
