David S. Goyer Addresses Batman 3 Rumors

After Gary Oldman’s quote last week, many people have been eager to learn more about the rumored The Dark Knight follow-up, aka Batman 3. MTV News wasted no opportunities and decided to ask Batman Begins co-writer David S. Goyer to reveal what he could. Quick to throw water on the fire that Gary Oldman ignited at the San Diego Comic-Con, Goyer responded by saying:”Right now, Chris is involved in filming Inception, and when he finishes that, he will turn his studious gaze back to the Bat universe and we’ll see.”Goyer was a little reluctant to answer, and it seems he saw the question coming from a mile away. Was he just giving us a canned answer to cover up a possible slip by Oldman? or was he being forthright?

I don't care when the 3rd Batman-film will come out. The only thing I care is Nolan. If he's doing it, the movie can come out in 2014, I don't care.

@DHOPW42 Don't worry yourself. Nolan is going to direct and we'll be watching the third Batman before 2014.

How many times is Goyer going to have to tell people to shut up and wait? Let Nolan finish Inception, then we'll talk more Batman.

It was the same thing with Caine. He gave away when they were filming Batman 3 too.

And they aren’t filming Batman 3 yet, LOL. I bet Nolan has ideas, but hasn’t written them down yet. But until then, lets just try to can it and think about what is happening NOW. Aka…INCEPTION. Which should be AMAZING.
