They shot on Monday and Tuesday and will be back for a 4 week stint later on in the summer. Shooting went well, with Nolan particularly happy with the sets that have been built. I've been working there on the site, i can't tell you anything about the film or the sets (It's being kept secret, no one's allowed to see the script except the 'inner circle'), but i can tell you Nolan is the only person in the entire hangar to not wear a safety helmet whilst construction is going on

They are currently filming at University College London, we get a lot of crews through here (including Nolan's Batman) but this looks like one of the biggest. My office looks over the catering area but I haven't seen any of the main cast, just crew and extras.

Wow…awesome news! Thanks for the info. I knew the finale scenes in TDK were set, but I didn't know that's where they were filmed. Here's hoping to another great film from Mr. Nolan! *downs a shot*

thanks for the info teddy and alex. and it looks like the site is growing. slash film linked to the news and in no time you'll probably be getting a lot more traffic. congratulations guys, the site is wonderful and deserves it. now that you have inside tips, i hope we'll be getting a lot more fresh news as they shoot what it looks to be an amazing film. but wait… i know nothing about it… damn!! but i trust nolan, so i don't care if the expectation is too high.

Yeah, they used the hangar for the end sequence of Dark Knight. IT was for the interior scene in the Prewitt Building where Batman uses his sonar technology and fights off SWAT guys, also where he has his final confrontation with The Joker.

Pretty sure it's Inception. Signs around town seem to reference the working title. If batman 3 was in pre-production it would be all over the internet.

I didn't know that they were filming there for The Dark Knight too. I knew that the scenes in the Narrow were filmed here for Batman Begins, but I didn't know about TDK-scenes. Interesting!
