These reasons are laughable and patheticly simple-minded. Christopher Nolan will create the trilogy, there’s no doubt about that. Only Reason number 8, 6 and 2 are competent. Wayne Enterprises could buy or deliver a militarz Stealth, which would become another Bat-vehicle, that could fly easely between scyscrapers too.

They are gonna have to make him a new batmobile. He trashed the tumbler because oj joker and his semi scene. If they don’t give him a new car then the movie will probably be brought down some, plus some of us are getting sick of the tumbler by the 3rd movie. What about scorsese , if the next flick went all mob like and had the penguin as a mob boss , i think scorsese would nail it . he would probably make leo dicaprio robin though so……..I like depp as riddler , fantastick idea .

After finding out about "Inception," my feelings about who could pick up as The Joker intensified. I always felt that if anyone could pull it off in Ledger's place, it would be Joseph Gordon-Levitt. Dude is a great actor and could pull off the same look. JMHO.

I like TeddyBlass' idea of Martin Campbell – he brought a hard hitting sense of realism to Casino Royale that mirrors Nolans reinvigoration of the Batman franchise. It also shows that he could make it brutal and convincing enough whilst accomplishing a broad spectrum rating to make the film available to everyone, as with The Dark Knight and Batman Begins

Well, I'm a fledgling screenwriter myself… and if Nolan's like any other filmmaker I know (which he may well not be) then no matter how much he fought it he will have been thinking of the 3rd. Even if he doesn't want to! I bet it's popping into his head all the time… With the setup of TDK's finale there is a great story there. My general idea's revolve around the idea of IDENTITY and a very Batman oriented strory. The state of Gotham with no Batman – the public asking where he is, the Batman coptycats on the rise spawning JOKER copycats (escalation remember…). Wayne's fractured state of mind, having caught up with the grief of losing Rachel – lost without batman in many ways, being forced to live as Bruce Wayne all the time… someone will come along to force Batman out hiding. Maybe his identity secret identity may come under threat… But! Will Bruce want to be Batman again? Lol, I'm getting myself excited – just my random musings, feel free to bare no heed.

I think the biggest thing that we have to think about here is that Nolan isn't going to come back just because the studio "needs" him to make a movie. It has to be a good script. Everyone says that, but particularly for this story, it has to be. I think all of us expect it to be made, but we also don't want a piece of shit movie, either. I think that's what Nolan's got to be thinking about. I felt that DK was so dark and violent that how does Batman come back from that, especially being the villian. I'm no screenwriter, but I've tried to think of possible storylines and to me, it'll be damn hard to capture a storyline that lives up to what DK was (no matter who the villian(s) are). Having said that, I can see Nolan walking away if the script isn't compelling enough. Think about this, though, when Nolan was cast as the director (and I LOVED Memento), did any of us think that he would do as a fantastic a job as he did? My point is that if it is another director, it might be someone that we're not thinking of that might not be a big name, but could get the job done. The most important thing here is not to just do a sequel just to do a sequel (look at Major League 2)…

One more question do you guys think that since he casted Di Caprio in Inception does Nolan want to test Leo in this film so that he would give cast him in Batman3. I think Di Caprio is a great actor. After Ttanic everyone thought that he has no talent, but he did a great job in Gangs of N.Y, Aviator (nom 4 oscar) and Departed. If so Di Caprio would make a great villain, like Heath Ledger he hadn't got a role to play a bad ass. He would make a great Joker or Riddler. And I want to see a Joker in B3.

I know, I know that we all want Nolan back. But he stated in an interview that this will be a tough decision to come back. I mean how many third part movies were there that surpassed the sequel? Cameron didn't want to do anything with T3. But lets look at the possible worst scenario. If Nolan will step down, Danny Boyle (Slumdog, Sunshine, 28 Days Later) would be my first pick. The guy haven't done a bad movie at all, even Spielberg did a shitty job on World of the Worlds and Jurassic Park 2, I wouldn't give Steven a sequel to f it up. Or how about giving Schumaher one more chance? Lol just kidding guys.

I agree with you, Chris. I think Nolan knows that this is the last Batman-movie he MUST make. I mean, nobody expects from him to make a fourth movie. We, the fans only want him to make the last part of the trilogy. It's our only wish. If after the 3rd movie he says: "Thank you, it was a pleasure for the last 6 years, but I'm not gonna make another Batman-movie", it's okay. We never thought he would do that. But the only thing, we WANT from him, is to make the 3rd movie. And I think he knows that. So all in all, I think he's gonna make it:-D

Don't worry Nolan is doing it. There have been movie sites out there that report that by signing on for Inception Nolan signed on for a third Batman. But it still bugs me that Nolan just hasn't come out and said, "yes I'll make another one." Don't worry Batman 3 will be made by Nolan. No doubt.
