Cameron hasn’t made a film since 1999. Hardly “active” and I don’t think he should be on the list.
Fincher fell off HARD when the new millenium hit.

That caught my eye as well. Peter Jackson's entire professional career was built off the success of The Lord of the Rings. Is that enough to declare him the second greatest active director? Personally, I thought those three films were absolutely amazing and I'm glad to see that he is being recognized for their success years later. As for his other films…King Kong? Meh.

Truly, I don't really understand why Peter Jackson is the second greatest active film director. Alright, he made The Lord of the Rings, but… other films?:-D

Yea, I\'m surprised that James Cameron was so far down on the list. Number 9, really? It\'s James Cameron!! And, of course, I\'m truly glad that Chris Nolan was able to make it to 4th place. Quite an amazing feat.

I'm glad that Nolan made to the 4th place, but I think others could be in the top10 too. For example David Fincher. I'm nearly traumatized that I don't see him there.
